North Texas Food Bank Announces New Partnership with Crossroads Community Services

The Food Bank will soon move our volunteer and distribution operations to the Perot Family Campus in Plano. This important move will ensure that the Food Bank is able to achieve our goal of providing 92 million meals annually by 2025, now from a more central location to the 13 counties that we serve.

In order to build capacity in our southern counties, the Food Bank has selected Crossroads Community Services to serve as the Southern Hub via our Pollock Campus on Cockrell Hill Road- starting in January 2019.

Crossroads will handle distribution to NTFB Feeding Network agencies as well as other Community Distribution Partners. The organization will offer other wrap-around services for neighbors and starting in April 2019, Crossroads will operate a client choice pantry via the Pollock facility. With so many people inquiring about direct assistance at this facility, adding a pantry onsite will be a welcome change. Both Crossroads and the Food Bank are especially excited to offer an abundance of fresh produce from this location.

As the Food Bank works to provide 92 million meals by 2025, we know that it will take collaboration and innovation to reach this goal. The Food Bank team looks forward to working with our partners at Crossroads to meet the need for food assistance in the south.
