As the New Year begins, President-elect Obama and his wife, Michelle, continue to support his campaign pledge to fight hunger in America and end child hunger by 2015. To support this mission, they are calling upon all Americans to join forces on Monday, January 19th for a “Renewing America Together” national day of service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. The North Texas Food Bank is excited to be a part of this call-to-action and encourages you to participate!

Skip a Lunch – January 17-19 you can skip a lunch and fast for a day to experience hunger first-hand. You can donate the money you would have spent on lunch to help North Texans in need.
