The North Texas Food Bank Dishes Out Gratitude- Recognizes Donors at Awards Ceremony
WHAT: The North Texas Food Bank will host its first ever Dishing Out Gratitude recognition celebration.
WHEN: Thursday, September 18 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: The event will be held at the North Texas Food Bank located at 4500 S. Cockrell Hill Rd. in Dallas.
WHO: Key donors, volunteers and Food Bank staff will be on hand to honor and celebrate individuals who have demonstrated the NTFB’s five core values in extraordinary ways.
WHY: The NTFB would like to thank its supporters and friends. Donors will be honored in all areas – food, fund, time and advocacy. The core values of the NTFB are: Do what needs to be done, Do what is right with urgency, Steward and leverage resources with integrity in an authentic, transparent way, Respect diversity of individuals, thought and viewpoint and Celebrate passion for our world and the people who live in it.
“The gift of time, talent and treasure are very precious commodities. Our supporters, concerned with the greater good, is the reason I believe we will Close the Gap on Hunger by 2011,” says Jan Pruitt, president & CEO of the NTFB.
The evening’s awards will include Innovator of the Year – Corporate, Golden Fork – Individual, Do what is right with urgency, Do what needs to be done and more.
