We greatly appreciate our volunteers and their impact on the success of Cooking Matters. Each year we honor several volunteers for their committed service. The honorees from the Summer 2011 to Spring 2012 session are:

About Cooking Matters

• Offering Cooking Matters courses since 1996

  • Since 1996, over 3,440 participants have taken part in over 245 courses
  • Cooking Matter classes are offered at over 171 sites, such as senior centers, food pantries, after school programs and public health sites
  • Cooking Matters is offered in the 13 counties NTFB serves
  • In 2011, over 768 bags of groceries were distributed and 440 families were served through Cooking Matter courses.
