The NTFB Volunteer Experience

Inform • Inspire • Invest

Thank you for your gift of time to help Close the Gap on hunger! One of the reasons the North Texas Food Bank is so effective is because of its strong, loyal volunteer base which is evidenced in the 60,000 hours contributed in 2007-2008.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are your weekday volunteer hours?

We have volunteer opportunities in our warehouse M-F from 9-12 or 1-3:30 (full day shifts are also available). Please schedule weekly warehouse volunteer times at least one week in advance.

Note: Our warehouse team breaks for lunch from 12 - 1 p.m. During that time you may bring your own lunch or grab a bite at a nearby restaurant. Please notify our Volunteer Coordinator if you intend to eat at the Food Bank, so we can reserve a conference room.
