| Big Texas Beer Fest April 14 ![]() |
Join us at the Big Texas Beer Fest on April 14 from 1-6 pm and enjoy North Texas' first 100% craft beer-inspired festival. The event will be held in the Automobile Building at Fair Park (1010 1st Avenue, Dallas) and will feature 80-100 craft breweries, local food trucks, music from local band The O's, and will focus on the emerging Texas craftbeer scene. Individuals age 21 and over can purchase general admission tickets for $35 or VIP tickets for $60 by clicking here. VIP tickets will include 1 hour early admission and a first crack at rare/special beers. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank. Free cheeses as well as free photo booth opportunities will be readily available. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sample coffee from several local vendors. Girl About Town TV has teamed up with the North Texas Food Bank to feed more Families in 2012. In Partnership with III Forks Restaurant (17776 Dallas Pkwy), the Girls Bite Out event will be held on January 28th from 6-9 pm. | BV Coastal Vineyards - Give & Give Back | "Like" BV Coastal Vineyards on Facebook to learn more about their Give & Give Back online challenge. BV asks Americans to commit at least 1 million volunteer minutes to food banks, soup kitchens, and hunger relief agencies nationally. When BV reaches the challenge goal of 1 million volunteer minutes, American wine lovers will have contributed the volunteer time equivalent of $356,000. For each minute pledged, funds will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank! |

Head to CrossFit Lake Highlands (9850 Walnut Hill Ln., Dallas) on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 11 am to see NTFB supporter Patrick Kercheville once again complete the impossible. This year he will be completing 46 rows plus 46 CrossFit workouts on his 46th birthday! This indoor rowing and CrossFit endurance event will be collecting donations to benefit NTFB and Vickery Meadows Food Pantry. Can't make the event? For every regular-season home game, the North Dallas Vandals will host a canned food-drive promotion at Alfred J. Loos Field House (3815 Spring Valley Road, Addison) beginning at 6pm.
