Russ Noland Memorial Golf Tournament

Sachse First UMC hosts the 6th annual Golf Tournament at Firewheel Golf Club in Garland in the memory of Pastor Russ Noland. The Food 4 Kids program is an emergency food assistance program designed for elementary school children. Through Russ’ passion for this cause, Sachse First UMC has raised over $79,500 over the last 5 years to help fund this vital program.
We invite you to join us in this our 6th Annual Tournament with your contributions, your gifts, a sponsorship, or as Russ would say: “Just come play some fun golf!”

NALC - Stamp Out Hunger

The National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger food drive is the largest one-day food drive in the nation. On May 14th, North Texas residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items and place them by their mailbox for their letter carrier to collect. Letter carriers will then deliver the food to the North Texas Food Bank where it will be sorted by volunteers and distributed to the Food Bank’s 1,184 feeding and education programs in 13 North Texas counties. Don’t forget: Leave non-perishables by your mailbox May 14th!
HEB/Central Market’s Help End Hunger

This summer, join area HEB and Central Market stores in the fight against hunger by donating in $1, $3 or $5 increments at the register. All proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank and each dollar donated provides 3 meals for North Texans in need.
