Whole Foods Market® Giving Tree
December 1-31, 2009

The Whole Foods Giving Tree gives holiday decorations a “Whole” new meaning! This Holiday season, all Dallas area Whole Foods Market® stores will provide customers and opportunity to donate to the North Texas Food Bank through The Giving Tree. Ornaments, available in various denominations at checkout, will be placed on the tree in each store by the buyer. At the end of the season, Whole Foods Market will donate 100% of the proceeds for the giving tree to help feed hungry kids in our area.

Deck the Halls
November 14 – January 3

The North Texas Food Bank is honored to participate in the second annual "Deck the Halls" exhibit at the Old Red Museum, 100 S. Houston Street, showcasing festive holiday trees that have been designed and decorated by 20 of Dallas's not-for-profit organizations in efforts to raise funds for their charitable causes. We’d like to extend a special thanks to Moroch and DART for donating their talent and services to make the Food Bank’s tree a success!

The inspiration for this year's Deck the Halls exhibit is "Celebrating the Traditions and Cultures of Dallas County" which can be interpreted in the trees' designs in any way by the participating organizations. From November 14 through January 3, all Old Red Museum visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibit and vote for their favorite tree through donations. Hop on a DART line, vote for the North Texas Food Bank’s tree, and help feed North Texans in need this holiday season! For more information visit oldred.org.
