Amanda O'Neal
Public Relations Manager

Amanda serves the North Texas Food Bank as Public Relations Manager. She works to raise the public’s awareness of the Food Bank and promotes fundraising campaigns, cause marketing events and donor recognition. She also works with the media to highlight hunger issues and inform the public on ways they can help.

Amanda received her B.A. in Radio/ TV with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism from Sam Houston State University. Prior to joining the Food Bank, she worked as a TV news reporter at KBTX in Bryan/College Station, TX and as a media specialist for Bryan I.S.D. where she produced and hosted a 30 minute TV show for the district’s cable channel.

She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the National Kidney Foundation Serving North Texas and attends Concord Church where she volunteers with the youth and women’s ministries.

Amanda enjoys public speaking and being an advocate for causes close to her heart and spending time with her husband Johnny.
