Kaitlin Hammond
Nutrition Education Manager

Kaitlin Hammond is a registered dietitian and serves the North Texas Food Bank as Nutrition Education Manager. She oversees diverse nutrition education delivery to Member Agencies of the North Texas Food Bank and community partners who share our mission to reach people at risk of hunger and malnutrition. Her passion for nutrition drives her goals to ensure that all people have access to foods that support a healthy lifestyle and have the skills to maximize nutrition on a limited budget.

Kaitlin obtained a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from Seattle Pacific University in 2002. She moved to Texas later that year and completed her dietetic internship at Baylor University Medical Center, and the following year she joined the Food Bank as an AmeriCorps*VISTA (Volunteer In Service To America) for the Operation Frontline nutrition education program. Kaitlin was hired after her year of service and continues to offer her expertise in nutrition to enhance Food Bank programs and educate others about the Hunger-Obesity Paradox that is increasingly evident in our country.
