Jennifer Bussell
Child Programs Coordinator

Jennifer Bussell serves the North Texas Food Bank as Child Programs Coordinator. She oversees three child feeding programs, including Kids Cafe, Food 4 Kids, and the Summer Program.

Jennifer obtained a B.S. in Political Science from Southwestern University in 2007. She moved to Dallas after graduation in order to begin work with the Child Programs department at the North Texas Food Bank. Through her experience and training first with the Food 4 Kids program, Jennifer was able to see the impact of hunger on so many of the children living in North Texas. This awareness led her to expand the impact of all child programs, enabling the North Texas Food Bank to serve over 4,400 children through Food 4 Kids and 1,000 children through Kids Cafe during the 2007-2008 school year. Jennifer also maintains a commitment to providing healthy meals and nutrition education, enabling more North Texas children to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
